- Performance
- User Experience
- UX
- Digital wallet integration is hard to use
- Data usage has room for improvement
Great solution for complex ERP problems.
- We can set up automated channels that can generate and Send invoices to customers from Google Clouds billing.
- We can set up different contracts according to customer agreements, which include promotions and discounts.
- It automates most clunky billing processes which can be a huge advantage.
- There are some issues with integrations. Like we have to generate an intermediate report and then feed it to SAP.
- Changing the format of the invoice is a hassle sometimes, and the online resources are good but not great.
- Time taken during migration is too long.

- Performance optimization
- Localization and Globalization
- Personalized Customer Journeys.
- Omni-Channel Integration.
- Data-Driven Insights.
- Simplifying the customization process.
- Improved documentation.
- Greater visibility into the platform's performance.
- Centralized Data Management: SAP Commerce Cloud excels in centralizing data from various operational sectors, which is pivotal in the chemicals industry. This feature allows for better oversight and management of complex supply chains, regulatory compliance, and customer interactions. Having a single source of truth for crucial business data minimizes discrepancies and promotes informed decision-making.
- Real-Time Data Processing: The real-time data processing capability of SAP Commerce Cloud is invaluable. It aids in timely adherence to regulatory changes and helps in meeting customer demands promptly. In a sector where regulations and market conditions are ever-evolving, real-time data processing is fundamental for maintaining compliance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- User Interface (UI): The user interface of SAP Commerce Cloud could be more intuitive. Users often find the interface to be not as user-friendly, which may require additional training to navigate efficiently. Enhancing the UI to be more intuitive could significantly shorten the learning curve and improve user satisfaction.
- Documentation and Support: Improved documentation and more readily available support could aid in addressing user issues more efficiently.
- Integration Challenges: difficulty with integrating our legacy inventory systems.
- B2C and B2B Webshops
- Online Product Catalog
- Reactive user interface development
- Easy to navigate end user experience
- Direct inbuilt interface with SAP for order management and fulfillment
- SAP Commerce Cloud does not have large market share
- More industry specific templates are needed
- Better performance monitoring and tuning tools are needed
- SAP Commerce Cloud lowers manual effort, enhancing developer labor efficiency, and provides a strong content management system where we specify items, catalogs, and promotions.
- Deployments are done well, and builds are created quickly with no crashes or issues.
- SAP Backoffice and HAC are extremely useful in the daily lives of Hybris developers since they allow us to check all implementations done in each environment as well as compilations prepared and implemented in each environment.
- It's a little pricey; further cost reductions will expand product selection; also, trained operators are required.
- HAC occasionally functions extremely slowly and does not provide any problem messages; it simply gets stuck. Logging into the Backoffice for testing purposes causes a lot of trouble; it does not enable us to log in in one attempt, and the page refreshes every time we enter in the credentials.

Our New Life: SAP Commerce Cloud

- Not have a room to enhancements
True reason to choose SAP Commerce Cloud
- Use to design and develop very complex B2B business model requirements like Assortment, Personalization's, Custom Search Experiences, REST and Soap based integrations, Order and Multiple Cart for the customer, etc.
- We also resolve problems like displaying real-time pricing as well as stock from ERP, also implement Personalization on the product display.
- It's is very easy to integrate context-driven services and provide a way for businesses to analyze customer behavior.
- CCV2 really helps and reduces efforts towards dev-ops like building and deploying code to the environment.
- One of the best things to solve problems is to have implemented a complex assortment, using adaptive search as well as customizing search flow easily with minimal effort.
- Business-friendly UI as well as configuration by which Business can customize search experience for specific page-level along with customization of specific value.
- Flexibility over integrations, at the same time, can provide API as well can be consumers. Also, have OOTB integrations using SCPI which really helps in onboarding Catalogs details to SAP Commerce Cloud.
- SAP Commerce Cloud Integration with context-driven services to achieve customer behavior as well as apply segmentation and product recommendations, is very easy and it is out of the box with the minimum effort it is working perfectly.
- SAP Commerce Cloud on CCV2 makes life easier as there is no need of having big experience in the dev-ops side as build and deployment pipelines are already available. Also, there is zero downtime which is saving business as the site is always available.
- As per experience performance is the area where improvement can be done when ordering 500 products and more.
- SAP support for CCV2 deployment and SAP Products issues.
- If we can bring Facet hierarchy feature as well as slider facets options out of box
- There are performance issues in grouping functionality if we have many children of a group in PLP/CLP.
- As per my experience, SAP Commerce Cloud is built on Java and Spring which is an open technology and widely used. Any developer who knows programming can learn and adopt it easily.
- SAP Commerce Cloud has added new features and eased the life of developers by giving an easy way to customize Backoffice Cockpit very easily. So as per business requirements, we can customize it easily.
- One of my best experiences is with Search Functionality like adaptive search and giving way to customize filtering search results for specific customers.
- And one of the big reasons is that SAP Commerce Cloud is widely used by many customers and SAP Commerce Cloud is the leader in this area so always a hot technology.
Wish we could improve more

Less appropriate for B2B under Business Model based in Subscription
Good for enterprise level companies with large ecommerce channel.
- Integrates with SAP ERB.
- Easy to manage product catalogs, especially for multi-site implementations.
- Simplified access for customer support team to troubleshoot issues.
- Opportunity for improved search functionality, Solr is built-in and difficult to customize.
- Opportunity for easier integration with CRM platforms to drive personalization.
- Opportunity for easier to implement SSO.
Sufficient and flexible for e-commerce needs.
- New features are added on a regular basis.
- Integration with technologies like ERP is easy.
- Subscription options for SAP Commerce Cloud are costly
Digitalization Industry's Drug
- With SAP Commerce Cloud, we have strong content management where we define products, catalogs, and promotions.
- It is possible to carry out transactions with SAP Commerce Cloud in such a way that they are integrated with existing ERP systems.
- SAP Commerce Cloud has a platform where web interfaces are decoded.
- It's a very costly product for small companies. Further cost reduction will increase the choice of the product.
- Learning the SAP Commerce system is difficult for a start. In a simpler way, SAP Commerce product can be learned.
The Best Commerce Cloud Around!
- New functions each quarter.
- Provides all features for e-commerce platform required for both B2B and B2C.
- Flexibility to use across multiple devices.
- Seems to be more compatible with regular SAP and not the Business One version.
- Bad search system that needs to become more efficient and accessible.
- Loading issues at times.
SAP Commerce Cloud Review
- Successfully ties campaigns to contacts within CRM.
- Brings together marcomm departments across the globe.
- The codes between Hybris and CRM do NOT match.
- We've had campaigns (that took hours to build) just vanish into thin air - with no answers from SAP.
